Here are some new insect collages that I'm pretty excited about!

New birds for the Market

Here are a couple of new paintings I did for the Hogansville Market. In the first one, I liked how the oval opening kind of made it seem like you were peeking in on the bird in a forest.


On this second piece, of the crane, I liked how the red added a bit of an Asian inspiration, and also, I liked leaving the actual bird the color/pattern of the natural wood. I love how this one turned out, and the more I looked at it, the more I liked it...I kind of miss it already!

New Items for the next market.

So I've been away from the Market for longer than I liked to be, but I will be back on June 26th! Here are some previews of new items that I will be bringing with me!

There's been a lot going on lately, but I have made some time to work on a couple things, for one, a Turkey drawing which I think is pretty great :), also a Birthday gift for the one and only Betsy Walker, so I'll try and get a new post up by Memorial Day!

New Paintings for Sale!

To continue with my bird of paradise obsession, I've done several new paintings, the color didn't translate so well...so use your imagination :) (Updated scanned images, though the second picture was cut off by the scanner, so I included the original as well)

New Bows

I'm always nervous that our booth won't have enough variety, so I decided to make some felt bows. You can say a lot of things about Melissa and I, but one thing you can't say is that we don't like felt!

The clock is ticking and this week I finished my final iPod/iPhone cases with some bold colored felt!
